That was easily the cupcake team of the entire tournament. Even Thailand and Korea will put up more of a fight.

As a Canadian fan, I want Gray hitting. Obviously there’s a good reason she’s not starting (probably a past injury or something) but when Van Ryk is the only hitter scoring and Winzer decides to pull her, there is literally no one to score for the team. It just makes a real boring watch tbh 🙃

Carlini set a solid match today. Some sets seemed off to the pins but so was the passing. Middles saw plenty of opportunity.

She was better than expected but still won't unseat the 4 girls in front of her. I agree but she looked better than Plummer today Plummer got in her own head and well.. Canada almost exclusively served her. Yesterday, Larson was taking the pressure away from her allowing her to hit well. |

It ~looked~ like Plummer settled in a bit in receive at the end. She had a couple of head scratching hitting errors… i thought the connection with Carlini was better yesterday. Drews really picked it up, and SWP had a clean match as well.
