So Carlini sets against the B+ team against Canada without Larson playing. Terrible ball control. Poulter stans- she sucks. Then Poulter has to set without Larson on the floor against a C team from Serbia and doesn’t have a good match. Poulter stans- she’s ok. This board needs to focus a bit harder and look at why the the results are the results. Larson will be starting regardless of setter. We should've brought Courtney Thompson. |

I think this is the first quad, at least post-Beijing, with 2 setters who are neck and neck in terms of skills. Berg in 2012 and Glass in 2016 really have a wide skill gap against their back ups.
Honestly, whoever starts will be fine with me. I just do hope that when push comes to shove (aka London gold medal match and Rio semis), Karch will bring the setter who can make a difference.

It does seem, during match threads, that the Poulter stans are more abundant. Can't seem to argue with anything you say here. |

Off-topic but I’d pay for a subscription service where the US just live streams their scrimmages. Lol
Maybe AU can just be the national team playing against each other for five weeks with the final week being top players vs another national team like Brazil idk
