Well, that was a disappointing game. I think Chris Paul and Booker think “we have to score more.” The Suns are at their best when they have 4-5 guys in double figures. Cam Johnson was on fire last night, but CP kept launching 3’s. I about threw a can of green beans at the TV when Saric shot those 3’s.
Paul George-holy cow. Amazing. Patrick Beverley is officially my least favorite NBA player, overtaking LeBron James. His imitation of Chris Paul deserved a technical. But he didn’t deserve a flagrant foul on that play.
I fear Kawhi will show up for the next 2 games and we are toast.
Although I know very little about basketball, the former coach/referee in me seems to emerge during these games 😐!

I'm telling you that you misunderstood. That is not what I said or what I meant, either. Well, it wasn't exactly that I misunderstood, but I was referring to the wrong person/post. It wasn't you who made the argument I was thinking of in referencing that post. In making my post, I thought it was you who said this: I think it should always be off the defensive player unless they were able to knock it off a different part of the offensive player's body (foot, shin, etc.). You disagree with that, correct? The 3 of us here who have expressed an opinion on the rule, want or believe in, at least, to have 3 different interpretations or a change of a rule it seems. Will be very interesting to see how the NBA deals with it. Yeah, I did say that, though the more I think about it, maybe it should just be off the defense regardless so as to not overcomplicate things.

Well, Giannis looks like he might have a torn ACL. The MRI isn't done yet, but that is just terrible.

Suns took a big lead, Clippers went on a 10-0 run in the 3rd quarter and I thought they were gonna turn it around, but the Suns respond to grow the lead back.
Suns lead by 14 going into the 4th quarter. Have to think they're gonna close it out, unless some Clipper magic can happen again.

Chris Paul really showed up in this closeout game. 41 points on 16-24 shooting, including 7-8 on threes. Also, Patrick Beverley is a punk.

Admittedly, I am rooting for the Bucks tonight. I'm a big fan of Giannis's personality, and since my team is out, gotta support. Hope they finish it tonight.

Congrats to the Bucks and especially to Giannis, who dropped 50 points in one of the best closeout performances in NBA history.
