I don't know why we didn't sub in Kim Hill to serve at least once. JUST. ONCE. She's taller than some of the boys on the team... I'd give her a shot.

You really hate Patry don’t you😂 I don't I just don't think he's good. He was dug a ton. Less errors but Opps needs to take rips. Boyer took over there at the end. I would agree peak Boyer is better than peak Patry, Boyer just hasn’t been peak Boyer enough lately

Not mad at this loss. It showed us a lot of things about this Olympic squad, especially when it comes to being able to depend on the bench when we need them. I thought it was one hell of an all-around team performance. Once more: so much credit to K. Shoji. Often overlooked and underappreciated, but like Reach said: if he came into the USA gym at any other time other than the Christenson era, he'd be running this team at every major tournament

I assumed this was the same as NCAA but maybe I am wrong... are players not credited with kills from opponents blocking errors?

Even if we lose this I’m pretty happy, TJ and Ensing looked great Ensing defensively played well....was not good at all offensively

Hey from 2008, if you misinterpreted what I was inferring sorry I guess? The OP said Shoji would be starting in any other era than the Christensen era, which I why I posted a hello from Ball. Shoji is good, and was really good today, but he would have been on the bench during the Ball era as well.
