As far as setter of the year, I'm sure there are other stats (kills, blocks, digs, aces) etc. that might be used to determine who is most deserving.

Here are the conference stats:
I know not everyone is a fan of Jhenna Gabriel's, but she led Texas to a .358 hitting percentage. Baylor's is .299. Tech's is .193. KSU's is .183 (6th out of 9 teams); West Virginia's is .180 (7th out of 9 teams). I mean, awarding the KSU or WVU setter for that type of team hitting percentage makes no sense. I realize they both average over 10 sets a game, but those hitting percentages are not good. Sedwick for Baylor might make the most sense as she also averages over 10 sets a game.
As far as Yossi versus Logan:
Kills per set: Yossi at 4.52; Logan at 3.83
Points per set: Yossi at 4.95; Logan at 4.54 Hitting %: Logan at .307 (8th overall); Yossi at .278 (not in the Top 10)
Aces: Logan with 21 total (3rd overall); Yossi with 9 total; not in Top 10
Blocks: Logan at .57 per set; Yossi at .43 per set Digs: Logan at 2.55 per set; Yossi at 1.86 per set
I feel like SKT has played way too much to warrant Gabriel as SOY even with the gaudy team HP. How much is too much? On Sedwick, at what point in the season did she become the full-time setter and stopped splitting time with Williams?

Big 12 has favored the title holder if you look at past big 12 awards. POTY should definitely go to Logan. She's more well rounded than Yossi. Yossi for Offensive POTY if if we ever had such a thing or Bri (hitting over 516 in Conference...INSANE). Logan should be POY, her all round game is better than Yossi and with no real middle attack Yossi will get more kills. And Logan’s leadership is second to none. If I had my choice to start a college volleyball team she would be my first pick.

Really only when things went south like the tcu match.

COY is Tech. If you told me Tech would beat Baylor on the road, not finish in the bottom 3 and make the tournament 4 months ago I would have laughed.

Yeah, don't think Jhenna should be awarded SOY as playing SKT lowered her stats, even though the hitting percentage is great. But like Sedwick? ughhhhhh

Has obviously not been updated as they missed the week of 11/23. Just saw Logan got OPoW for the 4th time. That makes it Logan-4 and Press-2 (unless she was on 11/23?)
Interesting view of that link: 1. KJ Adams is listed as Gr on 9/07 and then as Sr on 9/21. She may have decided to re-classify for a bonus year or it could be just bad SID information 2. Rookie of the week 4 times Peyton Dunn? Bien really scared me, but she was a non-factor in the second game against Texas
Just a homer's perspective

Texas’ Logan Eggleston was announced as the Big 12 Volleyball Offensive Player of the Week, while the Kansas duo of Caroline Crawford and London Davis procured Defensive Player and Rookie of the Week for the concluding week of the regular season. Eggleston averaged 4.0 kills per set (28 total kills) and hit .358 in back-to-back road wins (3-1 & 3-0) over Texas Tech. The junior outside hitter had 19 kills, four blocks, two aces and nine digs in the first match. She helped Texas clinch its fifth-consecutive Big 12 Championship in the second match, adding nine kills and 12 digs. The 2020 Big 12 Conference Scholar-Athlete of the Year hit .358 and averaged 4.8 points per set which were fourth and second-best in the league over the week. Eggleston was a vital part of the Longhorns wrapping up the No. 2 overall seed in the NCAA Volleyball Championship. She now has four Big 12 weekly accolades this season and eight overall Big 12 offensive awards in her career. Crawford played a key role in helping Kansas sweep in-state rival Kansas State (3-1 & 3-2) to finish tied for third in the Big 12 regular-season final standings. Crawford had 12 blocks in the two matches against the Wildcats and has 27 total blocks in her last four matches. The sophomore added nine digs and 26 kills to help Kansas secure a bid to the NCAA Championship for the first time since 2017. This is Crawford’s third Big 12 Defensive Player of the Week award and the sixth Big 12 weekly honor of her career. Davis had seven kills with no errors in 13 attempts for a .538 hitting percentage in the first match against the Wildcats. She also had two digs and one block assist for the match. In the second match, the freshman posted a career-high 13 kills on 24 attempts for a .417 hitting percentage with five total blocks. For the week the freshman hit .459, averaged 2.86 kills per set and had 3.3 points per set to capture her first Big 12 accolade.

You may be right about SOY, but WVU doesn’t have the pin strength with even the most perfect of set than TX does with oos sets to extremely talented and dominate pins, not to mention the middle strength with Butler and O’Neal hitting at a very high success rate. She led WVU to a third place finish in the B12 and to their first ever NCAA. Hell, I think I could set TX to at least a .300!! 🤣🤣
