This was "already a thang", from my perspective as I had friends go last year and could kick myself for not attending (though I did NOT get COVID). Regardless, with the "robust schedule" we're facing (no LOL), I am DOWN for Laguna. Is this an ad hoc tourney or is it scheduled in advance?

Didn't know they held one last year, Laguna had taken down all the nets and pretty much barred the sport. With CA now "reopened", looking forward to this as it's one of the best tourneys anywhere, can't get better player access than this.

I'm certain volleyballjim was referring to 2019... you know the one where Rosie was heavily hydrating... well wrong word since it wasn't water ... and bombing every serve. As I recall there was a private benefactor who lives in Emerald Bay who bumped up the prize money to make it more attractive.

It's on the CBVA schedule for October 23. The odd thing is that the women's and men's are both listed for that day, and I'm wondering how Laguna will have room to host both at the same time.

Yep, I know there was a good showing at that tourney, Crabbs, etc. I guess 2020 WAS a blur with my incorrect dating . . . Tx....Nice for the guy who made it worthwhile for them; hope 2021 sees the same!
