Man, I know one of Serbia vs. Italy knocking each other out is good for the US, but it really sucks that one of those two teams, both of which had a legitimate chance to win gold, will go home medal-less due to this matchup. I'd rather see it in the semi's. Still more thankful it isn't the US playing Serbia tho. NBC literally weeded out the path for USA to finals. Sure the draw between SRB-ITA was unfortunate but with USA slotted to play prime time all along, there is no way they are putting SRB-ITA as an opener match because winner will have to face USA in the Semis if they win QF. They need the match up to happen for the finals that is why SRB-ITA and BRA-ROC are in the same bracket |

Not much love for Brazil here. What is up with all those wishes for Brazil to be eliminated? Just hope for great matches, that is all I ask.

Nice draw. The USA will face easier opponent in the semis, either Korea or Turkey. Bra will have to go through ROC and then either Italy or Serbia to the final. |

Serbia, Italy, USA and DR are in the same half of the bracket |

I'm low-key rooting for them (USA-China-Brazil in that order going into the tournament). There's intrigue with the London QF rematch for sure, and the 4B has upset 1A three two Olympics in a row (plus a couple on the mens side), which makes for a lot of anticipation! Brazil matches up well with Russia, and Russia is playing well above the level we've seen this past quad. I think this will be a dramatic match - Fe Garay has been brilliant as has Gonch/Voronkova |

This USA vs DR one is not so friendly for Eastern time zone, but can’t be greedy because the other matches previously were eastern time zone friendly 🤪 |

SRB vs. ITA
USA vs. DOM
USA will have to get past either ITA or SRB to make the final. Can they do it?
