First pitch is at 9:45 p.m. CT if anyone wants to stay up and blab with me. I’m on a scoop of preworkout and at the gym right now, so I’ll be ready. This has been a good game. Wild play with bases loaded too nobody out for Texas. Can't believe he got him at home. The catcher didn't even believe it either, he wasn't set up for a force play.

Base-clearing shot into left center on a full count with two outs. That'll probably do it.

Aw. Poor UVA. Bases loaded nobody out.. one strike away from going to the B9th needing 1 just one to tie, 2 to win.... and they give up the big hit.

Oh man. Just horrible. NC State is eliminated from the NCAA Tournament as the if-necessary game scheduled against Vanderbilt is ruled a no-contest due to COVID-19 Protocols. Imagine if NC State won today against Vandy. Could it be possible they wouldn't have been able to play the Championship series and this is a national-championship game between Texas/Misss St. now.
Vanderbilt will advance to the College World Series Finals.

nc. state/vandy game delayed. multiple nc state players will have to sit out due to covid protocols “I’m not going to talk about that,” said Avent, when asked if he was vaccinated. “If you want to talk baseball, we can talk baseball. If you want to talk politics or stuff like that, you can go talk to my head of sports medicine Rob Murphy.” Of course, the bigger issue was whether NC State players were vaccinated since some apparently tested positive for COVID-19. Avent — who said possible positive tests were “personal" — added that it wasn’t his place to tell players to get vaccinated. “My job is to teach them baseball, make sure they get an education and keep them on the right track forward,” Avent said. “But I don’t try to indoctrinate my kids with my values or my opinions. Obviously, we talk about a lot of things, but these are young men that can make their own decisions. And that’s what they did.”
