Congratulations to the Stanford pair of Hodel/Reilly for winning the USAV U19 championship and earning the right to represent the USA in Thailand. A great showing for all the players, present and future of Stanford in this tournament. I had no idea this team could come close to beating Maple/Kraft. I watched Hodel one year ago get 5th in last year's Junior Olympics and she seemed new to the game compared to the other players. Also, wonder if we will see a 2022 U19 Championships? Since this event is really the 2020 event delayed one year.

FIVB Bidding site lists the 2022 Beach U19 World Championships, so it is planned to occur on schedule. We already saw the 2022 YOG in Dakar get postponed to 2026, so my son hopes his event remains on the calendar as expected. www.fivb.com/en/bidding#TIMELINES

Wind was 12mph gusting to 20. I'd just say it was windy, but nothing out of the normal.
