I think both USA teams got reasonably good draws. With Slaes getting Kenya that's a nice break, but even LAT is pretty inconsistent and very beatable. If you had to have a Brazil team in your pool AP/Rebecca is the one you'd pick, even though that's not easy. Slaes should have no probably making it out of pool.
A team also got a reasonable pool, that Chinese team should be very beatable and Lili/Elsa haven't been posting great results lately, Dutch can play well but I wouldn't even say the Ateam has to play their best game to beat them.

Pool D will be fun. Some of the "younger teams" that match up well against each other at any given time... (AP/Rebecca, Slaes, Graudinda...).

I want the schedules filled in already (with each pairing)! It’s just two weeks away! C’mon!

We got the first look at Slaes vs Latvia today in the Gstaad 4* Round of 16. I think Germany is struggling at the moment with their teams. Dutch recently beat ATeam at Sochi or Ostrava.

I didn’t watch the Slaes v Latvia match today but the scores made it look not very close. I wonder if Slaes aren’t taking this as seriously after that big push to qualify the last 2 tournaments. According to Southbay those teams have played a decent amount back in Cali and Slaes has looked far superior.

This year it's wet and rainy. I wonder if Slaes still think it's a good idea to go play in Gstaad. Out of all 4 American teams headed to the Olympics, the other three teams stayed home instead. But one could also argue that it's good tuneup and practice against teams who will be heading to the Olympics. But when they were playing in Cali, Tina was also training with USC and she had schoolwork. Too many factors to pinpoint why... Latvia also won the Euro Champs back in 2019.

Tina was overtraining and looks sharper now with a single focus. Those matchups with Slaes were practice. The Olympics will be interesting and we’ll see who brings their A-game when it matters!

Marketa Slukova has reportedly tested positive as part of the Czech team outbreak. Nothing was mentioned about a replacement team being sent so I guess all the teams in Pool F get a freebie.

The Czechs have one other women's team with enough tournaments to be eligible: Kvapilova/Kubickova. But maybe with an investigation launched by the Czech organizing committee about their adherence to protocols, they'd be best to just drop out entirely. Before the pandemic Hermannova/Slukova looked like a serious medal contender but for whatever reason they really struggled to regain their form this year.

Before the pandemic Hermannova/Slukova looked like a serious medal contender but for whatever reason they really struggled to regain their form this year. Was it a good idea for the Czechs to openly suspect their 14 members on the charter flight... How are they going to investigate the before, during, and after protocols? Have everyone give a statement? Look for surveillance footage? Scan the plane for Covid? From the article, I get it as indirectly pointing fingers to the team doctor, the first one who tested positive. He's the only one who's mentioned as suspected of not being vaccinated, although not required.
