This off-season will probably be full of activity.. due to transfers, graduations, etc.. (butler seems to be a messy)
Marquette is adding two now... OH Aubrey Hamilton (Notre Dame) and S Yadhira Anchante (Peru-Iowa Western)... Both are really good pickups.
Creighton will probably look to the portal... I think they have two schollies open (Van Eekeran is in the portal)
St Johns is looking in the portal (and internationally of course)... I dont know if Rastelli is returning or not.

Creighton is fine and doesn't need any help. In fact they should get RID of some of their dead weight like Wait and Sis! I am curious about Marquette's two new pick-ups. These two girls combined with the incoming first years should make for an exciting squad. I also wonder what the BEast might look like if the ACC landscape were to change. So much refiguring going on I wonder if the ACC will remain intact.

I also wonder what the BEast might look like if the ACC landscape were to change. So much refiguring going on I wonder if the ACC will remain intact. The Big 12 is too weak to poach an ACC school. Same with non P5 conferences. The B1G only wants Notre Dame. I could see them expanding their desires if they feel threatened by the SEC. Do they? The SEC is obviously the biggest threat, as they have significant regional overlap. I'm sure the SEC is continually judging which members of the ACC they'd prefer to lure in. For now, the ACC's onerous exit clause should dampen such enthusiasm. But it is perfectly valid to wonder how long this status quo will last. Going the other way, if the SEC grabs two ACC teams, I would expect the ACC to try to gobble up two BEast schools to fill the void. I do not see the SEC trying to grab so many teams at once that the ACC shatters. The SEC wants high-end only.

That seems to be the sport that determines realignments.

Losing either Clemson or Notre Dame (or both), would hurt the financial strength of the ACC. Replacing them with BE (i.e. non-football) schools would not be a viable option for the ACC.

Note that Notre Dame is an independent in football. Conference realignments are driven by money. Football is the primary revenue sport, but men's basketball also is. I'm not sure what you mean here by "viable option". Replacing Clemson and Notre Dame with two non Power 5 schools would greatly lessen the ACC's ability to pull in nice TV contracts. But if that's the best that they can do, then that is what they will go for. It is feasible the ACC could also prey on the B12 (West Virginia?), but the SEC and the B1G are above them in the pecking order, and the PAC is too far away.

I wouldn't be shocked if UVA/UNC jump to the B1G in that situation. Also have to imagine FSU finds a home in the SEC.

I'm not sure we're disagreeing, but other than the unique Notre Dame situation, I have a hard time imagining the ACC adding a non-football BE school rather than a non-P5 school with an established football program.
