Proposal that it be agreed this forum is open to non-VB

Even though this is a VB board, and I expect most discussion in this forum will be about VB, it makes the most sense for non-VB discussion about the Tokyo Olympics to be here in this forum rather than Off The Net.

If you look at the previous Olympic forums, you see that this was the case for those other forums and it seemed to work fine (IMO).

My personal opinion: Awesome as long as it’s limited to one thread per sport. Having a new thread for every basketball game would be overkill IMO.

Yes, I agree with that caveat.

Certainly for regular competition-type discussions. Unusual news events, like when there was that whole gas-station fiasco at Rio with Ryan Lochte would likely get their own discussion threads.
