Wait... you don't like Goncharova because you think she's too cocky, but you like Karakurt? Are you just here trying to troll everyone? me liking Karakurt shouldn't be anyone's business, you shouldn't care if i do. Why would you feel trolled by my personal preferences? Anyway I like Karakurt because she's underdog and only 21 years. She toned it down over the years, if you watched 2019 VNL's she's much better. She needs to be mentally more stable. I don't like her being cocky either. I feel like you guys are taking this personally. i just watched the replay, didn't see it because i was taking some water. Yeah not cool from Karakurt either. happy?  I like Karakurt. I like Goncharova. I believe they’re both good players, even though Goncharova takes a goofy-footed approach and Karakurt has been pretty bad the last 4 matches. I don’t even have a problem with players talking through the net. It’s just hypocritical to voice your dislike Goncharova for a certain behavior, but you really like Karakurt even though she exhibits similar behavior (and even takes it up several notches, in my opinion). |

Whoever said Goncharova is cocky = spot on. I never liked her either, she is kinda nasty as a person tbh. I remember her screaming at teenager Hande's face very agressively...
And yes there is quite a bit of bad blood between Goncharova and Turkey as well, whoever said that catched well. That's why she was instantly dramatic on that block on Meryem, but who got the last laugh 🥳 Basically around 2016 or something Turkey and Russia had a period of very bad relations and it got bad and Goncharova decided to take these politics to the volleyball court and even talked trash about Turkey as a country. Turkey and Russia still have like a cold war type of thing going on, where they pretend to be friends but it's not real still in 2021.
Somehow since than she hates Turkey lol despite the fact that the Turkish girls did nothing to her and never involved politics unlike her or even trashed her country, again unlike her. I don't dislike many volleyball players but I do dislike Goncharova tbh as talented as she is that's all.
