Efficient win from the USA. The Martinez sisters and Castillo played well, but they were basically the only ones. Rivera didn’t have a bad game either, she picked it up after set one.

Round of applause for Prisilla Rivera. She’s been playing really well this year and she’s been one of the cornerstones of the DR for YEARS. I’m glad she was able to cap off her career with an Olympic appearance after not qualifying for Rio!
(Ok I know she’s technically retiring during the Pan-Ams but still haha)

Congratulations to the USA, what a well played match all around.
Thank you Annerys, Prisilla, and Niverka for all you have given over the years. You have had fantastic careers. This team is a hot mess with a lack of discipline , structure, organization, many things. But they are fun to watch and at least they fought back hard today, just too far outmatched. ❤️❤️❤️🇩🇴🇩🇴🇩🇴🇩🇴
