This is quite a run for France, inspired by their receive and defense. Clevenot and Patry are coming up big as well and Blizzard

Russia suffered their only lost in the pool play to France. Can France repeat it in the finals?

Argentina and France together had about the same amount of service errors that the USA was having each match. Yikes. Serving literally makes or breaks you. Teams should just spend 90% of their time on serve.

Patry had 11 kills hitting .523 with no attacking errors, Clevenot had 14 kills on 19 swings, hitting .578. Pretty awesome showing by them

France I guess is peaking at the right time. I never guess they will make it to the finals after their lose to the USA. Its not just about losing to the USA but the manner they lose to USA.

Patry was one of if not the most efficient opposite attackers throughout the tournament, but yes Brizard was great 😂 (+the receive gave him plenty of room to show off his skills)

France I guess is speaking at the right time. I never guess they will make it to the finals after their lose to the USA. Its not just about losing to the USA but the manner they lose to USA. To be fair... the USA looked incredible. A harbinger, it was not. :<

Just checked VNL games. Apparently France also won against Russia. How do we get the history of the match up between two teams. Is there a site or we just manually search?

France has beat the Russians both times in 2021, they’ll be going for 3/3

and just like that.. the only Team USA dominated in the Olympics is in the Gold Medal Match... wow France has been almost a completely different team since that uninspired loss to USA. Their oncourt presence, serve reception game, and leadership from Ngapeth are all very impressive.

It helps that they’re winning lol. I do think their pins are playing at a great level, in addition to their reception/defense.
