It's available from NBC Sports, but requires a subscription - I think USA or was it CNBC. That's the weird thing about seeing it on the apps - they don't really show what network subscriptions are needed to watch which events. All I get is a notice that I don't have a subscription. Peacock will have it, but only at 3 AM PST from what I've seen. . Thank you I looked again, and Peacock definitely shows it being available at 3:00 AM my time. |

Is there any link to watch this match and it’s entirety? if only there had been a link to watch it on the first page, that would make things so much easier. Even easier though would be if that link was also the replay link, that would be pure heaven. If only... |

lets also be honest, a field where Serbia had no Brankika, China had a badly injured ZT, Italy had no Zyllas, Brazil lost Tandara.... the US Had to win! the rest of the top teams did not have all their players healthy and available. Except injuries are always something that happen in sports, especially when you are dealing with players who haven’t had a normal training regime leading up to the Olympics due to Covid, and then are playing several games in just two weeks. Part of being a good team is having good depth so that you don’t fall in a heap when you lose a setter or a top hitter. The US lost their top opposite for four matches with an injury and had their setter go down in the middle of a huge match against Italy (and then were without her for their quarterfinal match). The fact is that there was little to no drop off between Thompson and Drews, and Poulter and Hancock, which speaks to the depth of the US team, as well as the team selection and having the “backups” prepared to step in seamlessly if they were needed. |

Why must people always downplay the US’s success? No, the US didn’t have to win. Akinradewo, while a formidable blocker, isn’t the offensive player she used to be a few years ago. Bartsch-Hackley was inconsistent on the outside. Poulter, Wong-Orantes, Washington and Drews are Olympic newbies, who could have succumbed to nerves and inexperience playing on the biggest stage of their young careers. And losing Thompson was huge, along with Poulter for those two games. The thing is, the players stepped up. Why did no one else from China, Serbia, Italy or Russia step up? It’s sad that people who watch the game can’t actually give credit where credit is due - instead, they find ways to discount a dominant performance by saying it isn’t that impressive. Sad that they would never say that to any of the player’s faces and instead, hide behind a keyboard to throw cowardly insults. |

Late to the party but congraaaats USA.
So I stalked the IG stories of volleyball players on instagram and my heart is full that volleyball players from different quads share creative stories for the team.
A few I saw were:
-Carlini, Tapp (2x), KP, SWP, Courtney, Cuttino, Kingdon,
-Berg and Haneef organized a watch party.
-Tori and Dietzen also organized one and hugged each other at the end.
-Danielle Scott, Fawcett, Lichtman, Glass K, Glass, A, Banwarth, Davis

I watched a bit of the replay on Peacock, and I'm not familiar with the English announcers. When I was watching NBC's live coverage, it was Sunderland and Barnett.

I'm not sure where this feed comes from, because they show everything, including the net/posts being taken down and the assembly of the medal platforms. |

I'm also disappointed by the level of competition but still, congrats to the USA who had the same problems as everyone else did (Thompson was injured, as was Poulter) and coped with them better. |
