Training roster is, in alphabetical order: Liberos Clark K. White Middles Bastianelli (coming from PUR this week) Crocker Gates Gross Kramer Opposites Cuttino Jones-Perry Outsides Bajema Frantti Stalzer (also coming in from PUR) M. White Setters Evans Gray Lilley If 14 is the roster they’ll probably cut one OH, one setter and two middles. Excited to see new names get an opportunity! Edit: nvm I thought 18 were invited but that’s only 16 lol

How has RJP been doing internationally? She was excellent in college but a bit undersized so got shut down by some bigger blocking teams. Genuinely curious if she’s been able to perform well at a high level in spite of her height?

She was the 4th best scorer in Poland last season despite playing 30/17/12 less sets than the three players above her

Sad we never get to see Krystal Rivers on rosters like this. I've always loved watching her play and she's shown that she can light it up against some of the top teams in Europe. Does she not have any intentions to play for USA?

Did Haddock-Eppich play professionally (or playing currently)? or did she retire after college???

Does she not have any intentions to play for USA? I believe she has played for USA in the past, but I've heard she has some health issue (I believe it's with her kidneys but not 100%) that takes a huge toll on her body, so she doesn't play the extra time in the summer.

She was at the Pan Am Cup (or Games) in 2019 I'm not even sure what her health is like. She was in the hospital for the last two/three/four (idk exactly) games of the German finals back in April/May

Watch (Facebook Live)NORCECA Live Stats (DOM vs. MEX)Samaret Caraballo is a UTRGV alum and playing professionally now. Camila De La Rosa will be playing for FIU this season. Mexico's libero Landeros is their Senior NT libero. I like her.

Pools announced: Mexico Dominican Republic Costa Rica T&T U.S. Canada Puerto Rico Oooh. This is juicy. How did they determine that? Talk about a gift for Mexico. There is no way Mexico loses to Costa Rica/Trinidad. That means, Mexico needs to win just one match to qualify for the World Championships, and it will be against one of the USA/Canada/Puerto Rico grouping in the Semifinals. I would think Dominican Republic is the favorite to win this event. Mexico will avoid them in the semifinals no matter what (which is the match that matters). USA could potentially not make the semifinals.

Side note, Parra (Texas) is considering going pro after this season. Mexico is in need of a solid OH to complement Bricio, so it gets interesting. I agree that this is DR’s to take, and now I’m really looking forward to watching Pool B play out.
