Although she did bring on a couple of “older”players (Caulkins and Savard) for this tournament which was a bit of surprise because she had something like ten NextGen players practicing in the gym. This team might be somewhat “inexperienced” but not really that young.

Is it too naive to think that USA will still win Pool A? considering Canada is without two of their best players, probably not. on paper, maybe we should win. the only issue might be how little training time we've had |

Is it too naive to think that USA will still win Pool A? I don’t think so. I think they still put together a very competitive team of players that have pro experience. Cuttino will be hard to stop! PR should be decent, and Canada still has 6 out of 7 starters they had for the VNL (no Maglio and Gray didn’t play), they just don’t have a lot of depth. |
