oof that was a great set too. Cuttino just long. This is the worst reffing I've seen in quite some time. This same event 2 years ago was bad too.. no challenges at Pan Am/NORCECA events

yeah, not really seeing much from Cuttino to warrant her being the next, great thing to come out of the USA gym...what gives? I don't think that's the position she's applying for. JT should have that locked up if she stops trying to be an OH.

IDK. PR doesn’t look overly strong. USA will get better with each match. I think they have a chance…curious to see Mexico play. Mexico played us pretty tough twice before Covid hit. And that was with an experienced libero, Maglio and Gray. But at the same time, King was even more inconsistent at that point and really struggled to connect with Van Ryk at times Canada beat them 3-0 in Russia in 2019. Only the first set was tight. Canada played several bench players including Perrin, Joseph, Mitrovic…Dani was setting but Brie got in a bit (she was still fairly new to the team after being called up). That was still two years ago and Mexico has improved.

can't wait to watch Jenna Gray pop off this season with Dresdner. She's got a pretty solid team around her.

Either way, Mexico was getting better each time they played us and I don’t know if this team’s passing or defense will be good enough to contain Rangel and Bricio
