There is still pressure on a lot of athletes to go to their club’s pre-season training (especially if they are new to a team and/or want to make an impact). It’s not mandatory if they have NT commitments, but a club may still not want them missing. The pro teams are the ones paying their salaries. Some players may turn down a NT invite over getting acclimated to their teams. lets hold this standard to the europeans lol😂

USA was out-dug 59-121..... yup Puerto Rico's libero had 43 digs... MVC is that you? I don’t think this will be an issue against Canada. Sorry to say.

Let’s go USAV had her at 4-2-12 (Which sounds more accurate) I just don't think either of the setters know how to set her (not that that's new to her or the fault of Gray) She was swatting at a lot

Stats taken at NORCECA events by local keyboard punchers are notoriously bad. Typically they count free-balls as digs.
I'd wait for the USA stats to come out each match.

Kramer is really doing well in blocking department. Connection with Gray can be fine tuned. I wish she continue playing pro, she has potential and her improvement from college to now is miles apart.

What changes do you guys want to see tmr? Does Franti and Bajema keep the starting spot? Middle changes? With numbers like this, I don't see why he didn't give Micaya White a chance...it's not like the passing could've gotten any worse. Would also like to see Bastinelli in there as well.

Does anyone know the situation with this? Like retiring seems so odd given she is in mexico with USA? just strange to me... Do you think she'll take some time off to then come play in AU? I think its odd to retire but do a NT tournament? if you're done, be done... But like dont, please lol

I agree it is odd to play for the NT and then call it quits. It would make more sense for USAV to offer the position to a player with future NT aspiration (for the senior team). Isn’t that what it’s all about?
