why did Rivera want to stay in the middle in that rotation like it's 2004 ... you're not a MB anymore girl

Haven’t been following this event closely so curious why Evans starting over Gray at setter?🤔 Gray was the starter in the beginning but struggled

I would like the refs from the Olympics back. I’ve seen water polo players hold a ball for a shorter period of time than DR.

I would like to see Micaya White come in as a serving sub at some point. I think she forced 4 overpasses on her serve against Costa Rica yesterday (while only playing 1 set). Obviously DR is a better passing team than Costa Rica, but what does the US have to lose?

I don't think any of the ones we've seen so far should have been called, but just my opinion. It's particularly an issue when setters get more leniency.

I think we need to see M. White, Gates and Gray hop in. What could it hurt at this point?

Despite most of DR being quite old -- Gaila, Jineiry, and Brayelin still have years ahead of them and are very good players right now. Holding on to Castillo as long as possible + A good setter + an OH2 (they don't exist in DR) and that team is very dangerous. They'll have options at MB that will at least be good enough to get by.

Mexico probably kicking themselves. They pushed DR to the brink and could have easily been in this match and beating USA to clinch a World Championship spot.
