PAC-12 refs are back. This game literally might make Oregon switch conferences.

This is like 6 consecutive horrendous calls, all in one direction, that have completely changed the outcome. If they hadn't laid the foundation for incompetence, you'd think they were being paid.

Terrible PI call to give Stanford the extra play, but Oregon brought it on themselves by a generally lackluster effort, head-scratching play calling, and really poor clock management.
And to add injury to insult, their stud RB Verdell is probably done with an ugly leg injury. Just a bad day all around for the Ducks - and for the Pac-12’s playoff chances.

Nebraska quickly up 28 - 7 2nd Qtr. vs. Northwestern. For the last 2 years they've kicked our butts, not this year. NE just recovered a turnover. : D

PAC-12 refs are back. This game literally might make Oregon switch conferences. I think I've seen fans of every single P5 conference complain about their refs today. Granted, Pac-12 refs have been notorious for a while.

Stanford has had a weird year. They got completely outclassed by Kansas State in the first game and then blew out USC so badly that Clay Helton finally got fired. They then lost to UCLA at home before proceeding to knock off Oregon. I expect them to lose to Arizona State next week.

Hopefully the CFP Rankings committee gives Cincinnati a serious look this year. But I'm skeptical.

Hopefully the CFP Rankings committee gives Cincinnati a serious look this year. But I'm skeptical. There's definitely reason to be skeptical. There are still quite a few undefeated teams left. Conceivably, there could be undefeated champions in the SEC, Big Ten and Big 12, as well as strong one-loss runners-up in the SEC and Big Ten. Technically, Wake Forest is undefeated still in the ACC, but I doubt they'll get all the way through without losing, and even if they do, their schedule isn't that impressive. Outside of the P5, Cincinnati, BYU, Coastal Carolina and UTSA are all undefeated. Of those teams, I think an undefeated Cincinnati probably has the best chance, though an undefeated BYU would have a case too. Edit: San Diego State and Wyoming are also undefeated. I'm embarrassed that I forgot about the Aztecs. The Cowboys, not so much. SMU is also undefeated.

Uga looks like the team to beat. Looks like they have a better defense than bama.

When the AP Poll comes out tomorrow, I think it's pretty likely that Cincinnati will be in the top five, and BYU will be in the top 10. I think the top 10 goes:
1. Alabama (-) 2. Georgia (-) 3. Penn State (+1) 4. Iowa (+1) 5. Cincinnati (+2) 6. Oklahoma (-) 7. Oregon (-4) 8. Ohio State (+3) 9. Michigan (+5) 10. BYU (+3)
The hardest ones to figure out were how far Oregon will drop and how high Michigan will jump. I could potentially see the Wolverines as high as seventh.

Iowa jumped to third instead of fourth, and Ohio State somehow stayed above Oregon, but otherwise, it was what I expected.

No undefeated teams left in the Pac-12. That was the lead headline in the college football report of our local newspaper.
