Is Iowa a tough team? I wouldn't think WA would be struggling so much against them. As with most sports teams and players....it's all about consistency. Can they be as good as they can be more often? They can be very good in system, but don't have a ton of firepower. |

Iowa is one of those sleeper teams every year. The always seem to take down a highly ranked team that thought it would be a walk-over.

Is Iowa a tough team? I wouldn't think WA would be struggling so much against them. I have not seen them this year. But typically no. Every now and then though they put things together. They often play Illinois really tough. Buzzerio not having to set half the time improves them. I expect that they will tail off here. |

Well WA woke up in set 2 and put the hammer down 25-16, mostly thanks to Drechsel and Hoffman. Madi came in for Bush, but didn't really play any better. All the middles seem to be playing well today too.

UW is riding Drechsel and Hoffman for offense. Set Endsley twice early, both for errors and did not get another set until the end, which she killed for their 24th point.
