I think both of these teams will be bubble teams. This could be crucial!

I guess as a Husky fan I should be hoping Colorado wins, for RPI purposes. But that looks tough right now.

In that case then yeah, it doesn't matter much. A tiny fraction of opp's opp record.

I think both of these teams will be bubble teams. This could be crucial! I think that’s a tough order. This will be a weaker CU team than they’ve had for a while.don’t pass well. Clayton doesn’t have much help offensively, they don’t even have enough pins to run a 6-2 to make up for the lack of slide hitter. Schnegg doesn’t help much on the block on the right.

I think they'll probably have to win out in the non-conference (which they just won their hardest remaining match, so, they have a decent chance of accomplishing that). The PAC as a whole may need to keep winning some of these toss up games to give them their best chance. But I think Colorado will be better than Oregon St, Arizona, and likely Arizona State.

I don't think this is a weaker Colorado team overall. OH2 does need some work, but Tabron can get better ...and highly rated Campbell may come in. There is rumor she is fighting an injury and is why she isn't playing. Colorado passed very well in the 1st 2 sets. Schneggenburger is arguably doing better at RS than Parker has playing injured the last 2 seasons. She hit over .400 the 1st 2 sets. True that Schneg isn't as good of a blocker, but almost. She got a few of them on her own today. Defensively, Colorado is better than they have been....they have been digging balls up that they haven't before with Tabron getting some great balls up and DeLuzio digging balls better. Honestly, IL just served really tough in 2 sets. That was some great serving by them to stay in the match.

Colorado had 16 more digs than Illinois. That's not something Colorado usually has in the stats -- even in an easy win. Shows that they are much better at digging than previous years and they get in-system much more often. Clayton is better and more consistent than Spann was, and the OH2 quality is not much different than before. So I would say CU is not in bad shape. The question is how much better can they get? Sometimes Colorado doesn't get much better as the season goes on like other teams.

CU really needs a new solution at L2. I can't recall Tabron ever having a good game and it's getting rough when Clayton is back row (this is compounded with the lack of Parker) My guess is that is Campbell. In Instagram videos she is not swinging so I am guessing she has an injury. She can crank on the ball when healthy. CU is pretty secretive about injuries.
