I just noticed on Paige Hammons recent - she said "17 years later and I have officially played my last indoor volleyball game" - sounds like she could be pursuing beach volleyball at USC.

Thanks for the updates, Volley2021.
1) Odd that the East Meets West Invitational will be on the west coast again. FSU appears the closest to USC/UCLA. 2) Week long trip to Florida…. Wonder if UCLA will go too. The Bruins preliminary schedule is not out yet. 3) Not many opportunities to see the Trojans in SoCal. Will have to make the trek to go to UCLA and/or Long Beach St.
Don’t know if this was mentioned elsewhere but Jose Loiola was replaced by Maria Clara Salgado back in October as the Bruins volunteer assistant coach. Also, Corinne Quiggle is no longer listed as the Bruins’ Director of Operations.

Add Bella Gamache from Oregon w/Stealth Beach volleyball as a 2023 commit. Probably as a defender or split blocker. Only one true blocker in this class.

Beach Volleyball Twins: "2021 had many ups and many downs, it was a year of both hardship and success. From battling injuries to winning a national championship with USC Beach to qualifying for U21 worlds with USAV Beach, it felt like a rollercoaster at times. Through it all, we leaned on each other. When we felt alone or knocked down, we had one another, and it made the journey that much more bearable. 2021 marked a year of growth for us in our faith also, and when we play, we no longer play for scores, stat lines, or wins, we play for the glory of God! Moving into 2022, we are more fired up than ever to improve and become better athletes, teammates, and people. The sky’s the limit, and we want to see how high we can go!" http://instagr.am/p/CYJwyZdsVcU

Good news about Audrey Nourse. Hammons is not on the Beach roster at this point. I still don’t see why she would play spring semester. As long as Schafer is playing, there’s no need for Hammons to play. Every 2022 USC Beach starter has years and years of experience so the odds are Hammons wouldn’t even start. If this was next year, when the USC team will be in rebuilding mode, circumstances would be different.

I thought y'all said hammons wasn't playing Still not on the roster but looks like it was confirmed by both the indoor instagram and beach. Scully as well, maybe they just want some height for practice because I do not see them beating anyone out. Also interesting choice for them to play beach instead of heading straight into professional like so many others. I feel like they still have lots of classes to take before graduating
