Bayley McMenimen, Minnesota, deserves some credit. Saved their butts this past weekend and helped create a whole new energy on the floor. Clean hands and great tempo/location.

She's incredibly underrated. Such a talent. Any clips online? Can't find any.

She's incredibly underrated. Such a talent. Any clips online? Can't find any. I watched her in person for matches against Oregon and SMU. If you can find a replay of the Oregon match, she's worth watching.

Hilley without question. Pukis is super fun to watch, but she makes a lot of mistakes. Bush is just super consistent and far more physical than her size suggests, but it seemed like she got outplayed by Tori Dilfer in that Louisville match so I'll throw her in there.

Nobody has mentioned the rutgers setter, inna balyco, she is far better than the talent level she works with

Ella May Powell not getting enough credit. All the skills plus great leadership ability. If winning is your objective, Powell is right at the top.

How is the Best setter determined? By the # of assist they have at the conclusion of the game? If a setter has a bad set that is unhittable does it take away a ASSIST or is it the hitter that gets the error? It's a tough position to plays, but it seems like if they cause a error it does not take away a assist from their stat line! just a thought I could be wrong on all accounts about this.

Sometimes the statistician gives a 'bad set' to the setter, but they never take away an assist! More often, even when the set is complete garbage, the hitter gets the error in the stats, because they were supposed to do SOMETHING to keep it alive (even when not physically possible.)

I think it's something that's hard to determine just by looking at stats. Cincinnati's setter led the country in assists/set during Jordan Thompson's senior year. I watched quite a few of their matches that year, and not only was the setter not the best in the country, she was below average.
