As for Mac May, when you have literally twice as many swings as the next player on the roster through 6 matches, so it isn't a mystery that you are going to get set a lot, .282 at any position is pretty good. You would hope for ball control and other hitters to present greater threats and get her better opportunities, but, aside from a potential comparison with Superwoman Samedy, she is doing some good work on a national basis.

Luper is the other OH. She has started 3 matches. She has 107 swings in those matches, compared to 137 for May and is hitting .261. Both are "doing some good work".

I did not look at the match by match stats, but, clearly, yes. Bottom line: I would not sleep on UCLA at this point.

UCLA has tried 4 different Opposites this week. Ndiaye, McCall, Jacobs, and Hadrych.

They need a setter who can set the OPP and the middle and the OH will be even better

The problem is Martin is a transfer from a P5 program. UCLA's secret formula for setting success requires a midmajor transfer Hmm, either from a midmajor or from Cal, I guess.

Chang was a decommit not a transfer. And she wasn’t that good. It’s just the ones left after sue was injured were unplayable.

I was talking about Holly McPeak. I know that was a long time ago, but UCLA did win a national championship with McPeak as their setter.

Do the San Diego schools just NOT like audio this year? Zero audio with the San Diego UCLA match. Last night Sand Diego State vs UCLA Audio (For me) was cutting in & out. So much to the point I just turned it off & watched the Oregon game. & now tonight's game San Diego vs San Diego State.....Zero Audio.
Funny tho when I went to watch last night match on demand Audio was fine. The game from the 9th is audioless on Demand

What happened with Lauren Turner? Is she injured? I see she is in plain clothes again doing stats, but she's not wearing a boot or anything. They really need her in the middle.

Incredibly frustrated. USD dropped the first set to SDSU. Video last for a point then keeps cutting out. No live stat.
