Talking of France, it looks like Kevin is back in the roster for the World Championships. They announced 15 players, so one of them will be cut off later and most likely a middle.

I honestly don’t know how reliable/accurate it is. http://instagram.com/p/Cg3-G-ms3pH

I don't think thats a legitimate account. If the official accounts of France volleyball have not said anything, I doubt this list is credible.

Apparently Leon is going to be back with the national team.
He believes he will be ready by the time it starts, and at 100% by the time playoff rounds happen

In last years EuroChampionship, France got upset by Czech in round of 16 and Poland was upset (well sort of) by Slovenia in SF. Italy won by beating Serbia in SF and Slovenia in final. It’s like tennis grand slam (women’s) in that You could win the whole thing relatively easily. A big part why Italy won was because the other teams were using their olympic lineup. Italy had a lot of young guns in the Euro Championship. While poland, France, etc. had an exhausted lineup. VNL->Olympics->EuroChampionship. Yes Gianelli and Michielleto were there too but Piano, Vettori, Zaytsev, and Juantoreno were not there and they were the ones who played in the latter part of the OG. But the same Italy team got swept by France and Poland pretty hard (didn’t win a single set) in the VNL finals last month

Paper tigers imo

The Italian olympic team is not the same as the European Championship team

Here’s the thing about Italy. With Michieletto having a bit of a slump, I’m not convinced with them as medal favorites. They just don’t have an elite pin to cover for Michieletto’s struggles. Lavia was fantastic don’t get me wrong. I think in order for Italy to become a medal favorite, Michieletto has to step back up and produce better results (I know he may be tired).
Italy just doesn’t have the passing to play without an elite level pin.. and as much as I like Lavia I think Michieletto has to be that guy
