Maryland had 48 kills, and Wisconsin had 34 hitting errors and 17 service errors.

Didn't see the match but when was the last time Wisconsin played without 2-3 regular starters? Missing Haggerty to graduation, Hart to injury, and Loberg to ? we can see it makes a difference.

Sheffield may talk about freshmen and B1G play…. But he was the one that decided to play with the line up against a conference foe, and then tried to make a bunch of changes on the fly to get back to what should have been his A lineup in the 1st place. The only differences between tonight's lineup and Baylor, for example, were Smrek instead of Hart at MB #2 - and that was obviously not Sheff's choice - and Jardine on the left instead of Loberg. Everything else was the same. He forgot what B1G road games are. You start Loberg & Demps and then…..if your leading… you work in the freshmen for experience. Biggest coaching screw up since he decided to “get his pins going” at Iowa in 2017 and had Syd set past Dana all match & lost there. |
