I always love that the bridge he was defending was the equivalent of a walkway over a ditch that someone might have in their backyard.

Rutgers can cause teams trouble. They were the only B1G team to hold the badgers' HP to under 0.300 last year.

I'm wondering how the RAC will feel with volleyball. Rutgers was starting to get a larger audience at the college street gym, and it was a much more intimate location. I imagine they don't want to be rained out though. The quality of the infrastructure is probably the real issue that led them to move. Have to see if I can make this. It being on a Saturday makes it possible. Their athletic dept website would make it seem that they're still practicing in the College Avenue Gym, but I'd imagine the game-day facilities are much better in the RAC. No doubt it'll be... cavernous. Like Iowa in the pre-Bond days. badgerbreath , I'm sure the team would be thrilled to see you if you can make the drive. Well, based on past experience I think I won't be the only one! There may be quite a few badger fans there. I may take the train from Queens - or at least I would if it were at College Ave. Tolls are really pricey! We'll see.

Have you no shame, rainbowbadger? Seriously? A thread for this match? What next, a pictorial on how to pull the wings off of butterflies? (But seriously, you may yet regret this. Rutgers is stepping up and woe to them who think it's the same ol-same ol Rutgers.) Wouldn't we have regretted not having a thread? I think only the trolls are poo-pooing this match.

Did you know Joyce Kilmer was a graduate of Rutgers?
Poet of "Trees."
I believe there is a Joyce Kilmer Boulevard.
Wisconsin has trees.
That's all I got.

I believe Wisconsin is one of the few ranked teams to have actually dropped a set to them in recent years. I respect Rutgers. I take them seriously like any other opponent. Hence the match thread.

Easy there, badger fans. I was joking...
But I'm not joking about Rutgers. Your match will be a good measuring stick for how far they've come. And everyone else in the B1G better take note. They're not a "gimme" anymore. Their setter, Balyko, is one of the best in the conference IMO.
And rainbowbadger, your match thread setups are terrific. Carry on.

So, should Izzy or MJ get most of the reps at setter today?
