Does anyone else notice how much happier the Gophers seem and how much more emotion they’re playing with? I feel like we saw no emotion last year from Myers, Landfair, Wenaas… seems like they are having a lot more fun this year. I certainly don't disagree, but in this match specifically it's much easier to show emotion when you're sweeping the floor with the other team. Oh definitelt, I meant on the year. Even when getting pummeled by Florida they looked more “into the match” than times last year. But I think comet is right, a lot of MN players had personal things going on last year. |

Why isn’t Jones playing 6rotations like she always has since she was a freshman? From a fan perspective with no inside knowledge of the real coaching decisions… I would say serve receive. Her back row defense was always only okay. But as I’ve said I don’t know if Murray is really an improvement… |

why is it so dead in Minneapolis? the crowd sounds barely into it. is it the broadcast? Masks are part of it, but I don’t think it’s the broadcast anymore. The Pav is noticeably quieter this year… maybe people staying home due to COVID concerns? |
