why is it so dead in Minneapolis? the crowd sounds barely into it. is it the broadcast? Masks are part of it, but I don’t think it’s the broadcast anymore. The Pav is noticeably quieter this year… maybe people staying home due to COVID concerns? In the case of my husband and and myself (season ticket holders for many years), the specter of the (1) homecoming parade, (2) an on-campus concert and (3) tons of alumni on campus (because of (1) and (2)), with the related traffic/parking issues, the lure of watching it on BTN instead was too difficult to resist.  |

I will never understand Hugh’s logic behind bringing in a freshman cold off the bench to serve an inconsistent top spin jump serve that is only in maybe 50% of the time. |
