Who is the color commentator? I like her a lot. Good tone. Has her quick takes then moves on. Passion comes through in her commentary. Emily Ehman. She's improving pretty steadily in her commentary. I've seen her in other settings. First time for a match. I'm impressed. I don't have a different base line to go by, though. Like anything, getting experience helps a ton. But sometimes it just isn't there. Regardless of her quality of info, the diction, tone, pacing of her commentary is right on from my perspective. Particularly compared to what I'm listening to for most other matches. |

what did Purdue see in scouting to hit this many short serves
also, not having firepower from the OHs out of system is really hurting Ohio State right now

I don't think I've watched either of these teams play yet so I'm excited to see if Ohio State really meets the top 5 ranking. I don't have a strong feeling on top 5, but it's 21-15 Purdue in the first set right now, and this feels exactly like what a matchup between top 10 teams should feel like. Ohio State has some room to make up. Maybe it happens, maybe it doesn't in this set. But it doesn't feel like Purdue is running them out of the gym. This feels like it's anyone's match. |

We know how much they rely on Londot running that slide in the front row. Plus we know how to defend their left sides. |

That set was quick Purdue has better hitters in my opinion more weapons. Also their floor defense has been better
