It’s not the big name teams that worry me against Texas. It’s the teams that dig lots of balls, force long rallies, and frustrate our hitters. I hope this lineup matches up better with Rice than we have in the past. Tired of making that drive back from Houston with the L.

I am going to this match. Looking forward to seeing both these teams in person.

If Texas takes the first two sets, I'd like to see Coach Elliott take some risks in the 3rd - give Cabello and SKT more playing time, Parra as OH2, etc

Hey, that's my homegirl! Bri never has a bad attitude. Where did you hear that? Some posters spread a rumor she was frustrated and had a bad attitude after she left the court one play during the Rice match last year. It was a bunch of... nothing. Nope that's not her at all. She's a happy warrior. You know her finger once bent sideways out of joint during a Tour of Texas match, the medic popped it back in and this young lady returned and played out the match. Blew my mind! And that year she was teammates with Nicole Lennon of Rice

Some non-texas voters, if I remember correctly, where making it seem like she came across a certain way that match. It was debunked really fast. Fun fact: I sat next to Bri and her family one match when she was being recruited. They are so nice and sweet and we’re fun to be around during the game. We didn’t know much about her, but my sister who coaches high school clocked that she was a recruit because of her height. It was the Wisconsin match, if I remember correctly.

per Rice's preview article, the tickets are sold out. hopefully, the student section is full too. not sure how much of the crowd will be Longhorn fans but sounds like it'll be another daunting road environment.
the Tudor Fieldhouse holds 5,000 from google, hope it'll be loud

This was done visually, so I may be slightly off. Looking at the last two years of Rice's record up to the game against Texas:
2019: 9-1 with loss to SFA 2020: 13-4 with losses to Houston, SMU(2), and Baylor
Before Texas had to play them.
This year, Rice is 5-4 with losses to Pitt, South Carolina, Oregon and Baylor

In my experience, general admission meant first come, first choice seating. I have a ticket that shows it is general admission but has a section and row location.

General seating except for season ticket holders. But basically can sit anywhere. Student section is on opposite end of entrance. Wonder if it is sold out to full capacity or to a lower Covid capacity. Rice has been pretty cautious with events.

They’ve been pretty cautious with their football games for decades.

They sold out based on the 50% capacity.
