Just like the football team, Oregon VB tends to struggle in the desert. Let's come out with a win, Ducks!

ASU fights, but they can struggle to get kills at times, and it won't be any easier with a strong Duck defense. Ducks should be able to get this win, but i do see ASU getting a set.

If Murphy's out again, Morse will get the chance for a start in her hometown.
Playing in Arizona has been hellish for all Oregon teams ever since Dennis Dixon shredded his knee in Tucson in 2007, and we lost our chance to play for a national championship. Break the curse, Ducks!

This is an Oregon sweep. Trust. Sunshine is the natural enemy of all Oregonians. We are playing SUN DEVILS in the middle of a freaking desert.

ASU lacks team unity. You can see it. I think it's weird how the coaches all huddle up by themselves at time outs and after games to look at their iPads and papers to strategize. When all they have to do is watch the game to know what to do? Then separate different players to give advice too. It's weird the coach just doesn't talk to the whole team? They have a lot of talent to be losing all the time. Besides the pins everyone looks miserable. I disagree-- the timeout approach has been Sanya's approach her whole tenure. The coaches actually look more pro-active than last year-- Carlos is parked close to the court; Kyle is pacing the sides, and Sanya comes off the bench - all to give guidance. In the past the old asst said barely nothing- and there was basically only guidance given at timeouts-- this year I find them all to be very communicative with the players. I also disagree with players being unhappy-- I made it to one pre-season tourney and the players looked to be supportive of one another. What I think is happening-- a lot of new players; a cohesive coaching staff; and they are working out who is the best to be on the court to play against the competition. There have been mistakes; there has been growth; and hopefully as they continue conference play it will all come together.
