Kudos, IL. I didn't see it happening after they didn't close in four after being up 11-6 early.

Was upset when this match was on BTN+ (which I don’t have) instead of BTN 🤬 but now glad I can’t watch 👀 too extreme a ride for me 🎢 too soon for the term “roller coaster” win 😂 The camera operator is awful, so it’s not all bad to miss the video. I agree, I almost had a seizure watching

A couple things… Stop starting Emma Ellis. It’s not going to happen. She’s not good enough out of system. In a game lost 30-28 that’s a difference. Why in the world sub a middle hitting a match high .500 and a match leading 8 blocks in crunch time? Frustrating… Fully agree -- the Ellis experiment needs to end. Chinn is light years ahead of her as an attacker, especially OOS. She steps up her blocking game and Ellis might as well just chill on the bench. Chinn couldn't quite put it down that last set either... I think ultimately this rotating carousel has harmed their development more than anything. At least one of them could have been a core piece with more/better shots by now. I still think he should have subbed one of them in for Newton in earlier years, too. But I'm just crazy.

Huge win for ILLINOIS. Might get us some votes in the poll. Big Ten this years is going to be a rollercoaster!

All of Ill's 3 B1G 10 wins in 5 sets. They're getting it done in terms of making the tournament.

I watched this game live. Purdue was very inconsistent tonight. It was a tale of sets. When they were on, Purdue was very good and unstoppable. When they were off, Purdue was making silly mistakes. I really wish that Raven Colvin could have come in. I think that she would have been a difference maker. Illinois has always given Purdue fits. Illinois deserved this win. Good job to Coach Tamas and the team.

I agree with you until that Newton part. Still think keeping her in has developed her all-around game tremendously and she was carrying the team until Cleveland woke up in set 4. Her defense has saved Purdue quite a few times this season. It's her serve receive that hurts. But yes, keeping one hitter in despite how bad they're playing could've helped in the long run, including tonight. My gut is that player should've been Chinn or Koch.
