Not sure on that. Florida looked pretty good tonight when they, you know, actually served the ball in bounds. Too many missed sets for experienced duos, though, I will say. It is a sign of major progress for Ole Miss that I think it matters the matches will be in Gainesville. Is Forte back? Not sure is she’s been hurt but they are 2 different teams with her and without. Yes, she played tonight.

Well - if Ole Miss topples Florida, we know who'll be dropping out of the top 25 and making a spot for Ole Miss. With Western Kentucky (who lost to Ole Miss) sitting at 21, it would not be inconceivable for Ole Miss to be ranked higher than 25. Far from inconceivable. What’s WKU done relatively?

They look like a top 25 team but I’m not sure who you drop? San Diego, Tennessee? Dunno why Tennessee is so low anyways. They beat Baylor, barely lost to Pittsburgh, and their only other loss is to a Top 4 Purdue team. They looked pretty solid in the part of the match with Auburn I watched tonight. UT sweep at home.

So do we agree Ole Miss should be at least #25?👀👀 They look like a top 25 team but I’m not sure who you drop? San Diego, Tennessee? Wouldn’t mind any of these teams getting dropped; Florida, Pepperdine, San Diego, or Western Kentucky! I’m leaning more towards Western Kentucky and Pepperdine

There’s plenty of time for them to move up, same for Maryland. They just have to win some of these close matches.

I think Marquette is on the cusp too, but they would have to avoid upsets and somehow get by Creighton, which I don't want to happen (Not a shot at Marquette, a program I want to beat but respect. Bulldog alumni unity with KBB!)

Ole Miss is a good team but the serving needs to be a bit better or the blocking needs to be a bit better. If your going to let Kentucky hit in system all night it’s tough because you have no room for error. The offense is good enough but an error here or there and you lit 2 sets slip away. Exactly, their backrow is constantly scrambling because of poor blocking, which also goes back to poor serving. They do have the setting and offense to keep up though. I was traveling so didn't get to watch. catching up now. I see they actually out blocked and out dug Kentucky. Did the block and back row start to figure it out or am I missing something?

Sidebar: Coming from Wisconsin, this crowd is just sad when Jump Around is on aren't all crowds sad when Jump Around is on when compared to Wisconsin. IMO, that's one of the coolest things to experience at a fb game (or any sport).

It is a sign of major progress for Ole Miss that I think it matters the matches will be in Gainesville. They had to come from behind though in the 3rd to finish Georgia 26-24. A team they should have finished the way the first two went. I just don't have confidence in them right now unfortunately. I get your point about letting set 3 get away, but don't you think figuring it out and taking set 3 back instead of giving up on it and just taking set 4 is a skill in itself that only good teams have? People play bad for stretches... clawing your way out should at times be acknowledged just like closing the door fast. Full disclosure: I haven't watched it yet so it probably depends how they dug themselves the hole. My comment was a little more "in general" than this match specifically.

Yes, I posted that in the first two sets. They picked it up in 3 and 4.

San Diego, Tennessee? think you could drop Pepperdine or San Diego tbh. what about Western Kentucky? Who's their best win? and what's their record? compare that to mississippi... OR mississippi can just beat Florida once or twice and lock themselves into the top #25- doesn't matter who you replace at that point.

IMO, that's one of the coolest things to experience at a fb game (or any sport). I was there when Jump Around started at Camp Randall in the night Drew Brees game in 1998. The vein in my forehead almost exploded. Wisconsin was outgained by 370 or so yards, Brees was 55-83-494, but 1 td and 4 picks, including a Jamar Fletcher pick six. It seemed to be third down Purdue the whole game, so screaming required. Badgers won 31-24 off 5 Purdue turnovers. Plus, I was 6 rows away from the fences people were crushed against in an attempt to storm the field in 1993 versus Michigan, when the heroism of Badger players fighting their way into the crowd to pull out suffocating people probably saved lives. A great, in retrospect, but stressful, night. Fortunately, no stampede.

Think I had a concussion from skiing the night before.
