Buff's have a lot of fight in them. They almost eliminate another late Duck lead but fall just short. Oregon 25-23.

Proud of the Buffs keeping up with 3 original starters out and a 3rd string OH! Wow.
CU defense is so much better this year.
Ducks fast offense was the reason they won. Buffs block is great for a little slower tempo than Oregon delivered.
Oregon setting was awful. Should have called more doubles on them.
Oregon got a ton of soft blocks back into their court to run an offense. CU should run a faster offense like they used to during Sweet 16 year a few years back. Buffs best kills were obviously when there was only one Duck blocking.

Definitely surprised with how well CU played considering missing so many regular players, but also impressed with Oregon's defense on blocking and digs. They had a ton of digs. Oregon looks better than I thought and that says a lot for the Buffs considering how well CU kept up under the circumstances.

what would cause player suspension? Some conduct detrimental to the team. I wouldn’t want to speculate. |
