Suspension isn't a major concern. Removed from the roster? Yikes. Not sure Colorado will make the tournament now. But, you never know!

Suspension isn't a major concern. Removed from the roster? Yikes. Not sure Colorado will make the tournament now. But, you never know! Colorado has removed a player before from the roster, and they have come back to play again (Anyse Smith). So, who knows... CU is still pretty good without Clayton, but definitely not AS good. Hopefully Campbell can learn and adjust to the PAC level FAST. Tabron plays well in the back row and is learning quick with some great matches under her belt. It all depends on how some of these players can develop.

Any win in the mountains is a good one. Congrats to Oregon.

Ducks took care of business, despite some real inconsistent setting and lots of errors. Their defense was excellence as usual. Buffs impressed me with some tough serving and floor defense. Even down an OH starter, they still kept it really close. Ducks had to earn that the hard way. Teams will have to work to beat COL. They fight hard and have a lot of strengths.

Really glad to get out of Boulder with a win. First of all, a lot of credit to Jenna Ewert. She is just so good. The Ducks were having trouble staying on top of her early (probably didn't help that the scouting report was invalid) and she got the CU hitters a lot of really good chances. She also had a good sense of when she needed to step in and be offensive later in the match when they needed more firepower. Buffs also did a pretty good job passing - I thought that might turn out ugly for them. Schnegg had some real rockets fired at her but did a decent job getting those up. I do think the serves down the right sideline were really successful and made it awkward for CU's offense - I don't know if teams had been picking on that before but I wouldn't be surprised to see future opponents do that a lot. CU really needs a slide hitter BTW.
The Oregon defense was just so good. Georgia Murphy is the player of the match for me, she was passing great and making defensive plays I hadn't seen out of her before. I'm sure she saw Becca do such a great job when she was out and is pushing herself even more because of it. Hansen also deserves a special call out. Some really clutch blocks and was one of her more efficient offensive performances. CU had some success early, but once the block and defense adjusted we really clamped down on them. I wouldn't be surprised if we finish the year leading the conference in opponent hitting % by A LOT.
There were some setting miscues, but our distribution is way off. We reallocated the offense a lot when Brooke got hurt, and they seem to be back to setting her at a typical clip (I'm not convinced she's really near 100% yet though), but the setters seem to be rethinking/overthinking where to go otherwise. Borup is getting too many swings still, we forget the middles for too long (though I think their kill totals ended up fine overall), and the right sides were forced at odd times. I know there have been a lot of players in and out of the lineup, but would hope to get the offense smoothed out. Kylie seems to have stabilized from the rough patch when she first came back. Obviously would love improvement from the second contact.
Good win, Go Ducks! Take out Utah!

Georgia trying to make the case of Libero of the year this year. With numbers like that hard to argue...

Both teams passed exceptionally well. Depending on which metric you favor, you can make a case for either team passing better that night.
