haven't been following Stanford since conference play started... someone explain Berty as a DS? is that really the best option? Oglivie is out, so that’s why Berty is playing DS. i know oglivie is out but is it really oglivie>beavin>louegay>berty? there's no one ahead of berty in terms of passing/defense?

To me it appears AZ does not see the block well. Not just today but in general.

It would be her or Tillman and Hambly said Tillman wasn't ready to be a DS. interesting. i just never thought berty would be a DS. they have so many setters that could be a right back defender and actually take the out of system set.

True but Berty is passing in the 2 rotations she's in. Can those setters pass?

Card's defense was struggling the entire match so I didn't really notice too much of a difference tbh. But they were already up by like 8 when she stepped in so she didn't really have to do much to end the match.

Set 2 was close until the end when Stanford ran away with it, 25-18. Kipp with 8 kills, Francis with 7. AZ pins really struggling, hitting 0 or negative. Set Weidt more!

This will be one of two important bounce-back matches for SU. Bounce back from what?
