Not a know it all. Just listen to what Robyn says. She wants her hitters to be aggressive swingers, not timid. What gets the Wahine in trouble is when their hitters start to become timid hitters. This is when Robyn gets completely frustrated with her players. Robyn knows when her hitters are aggressive things go well for the Wahine, but when the hitters become timid things can go quite badly for them. Sure, that’s why Riley is still a starter!!

To be fair, although Riley tips and rolls alot, Fullerton dug the hell out of just about every hard swing she had

After the 4th set I had a flashback to the 2019 match against Irvine. Thank goodness there was a different outcome.

Thank goodness there was a different outcome. when I think of that Irvine mess, I think of how annoying the Irvine coach was with her antics to cause all sorts of delays. I have to admit though, her antics worked and Hawaii was handed an upset.

Good wake up call for the Wahine, don't want them to think they can sleepwalk through the BWC, so good to see them fight back and win in five at home because they'll be heading onto the road against two similar teams to Fullerton in UCSD and UCI.

The only 2 players that could have helped the Wahine, in sets 3 and 4, are Annika de Goede and Mia Johnson. Unfortunately, Annika de Goede is out for the season, and Mia Johnson is still not cleared to play. Hopefully, Mia Johnson will be cleared to play soon, cause the Wahine will need her aggressiveness on offense.

Less pressure off her and she can swing away since she's better back there. Hopefully it's soon other wise we are going to be live and die on how Wagoner performs in front.

The thing I don't like about RAM is she doesn't say much. I wanna know why Leo and Kiraly were't playing. Leoniak had her shot. Akana is getting hers. Leoniak hit .129 with 1.24 kps. Akana is hitting .175 with 1.82 kps. Kiraly had a few nice swings, but she's hitting .053 with 12 kills and 10 errors for the season and her blocking numbers are pretty dismal. There's no way she's playing over Igiede and Williams.

A hitter can't consistently be aggressive if they don't have a good step close. That is the problem for Leoniak not a lack of aggression.

I think Leoniak is plenty aggressive but she lacks the fundamentals to attack. Namely her lack of a step close.

Yikes. I didn't look at scores last night after work. Glad it ended well!
