After the last ten matches, Penn State volleyball has to feel about Nebraska the way Husker fans feel about Texas in football. The Nittany Lions are due, but will they get the W? Should be another great match and likely will go five (they usually do between these teams).

unless Adana Rollins shows up to play Penn State isn’t scoring any points from their OHs The Lions will definitely need 2 of their pins hitting close to .300 or higher to win this. Jonni will bring it, but I'm gonna need Rollins or Kudryashova or Pritchard (if healthy) to also bring the heat. |

Nebraska is 9-1 in the last 10 in the series. Wow. Didn't think anyone would ever get such a lopsided record against Russ freaking Rose. Penn St. has to be due, right? We know and it's maddening. Then the Huskers go and sign every freakin' top 10 pick for the next 5 years.  I'm banking on the odds being in our favor this go around and a large student turnout wouldn't hurt. |

I was disappointed that Penn State and the Nittany Emperor couldn’t visit Lincoln in the spring.
At the same time, though, it wouldn’t have felt right. Rose’s prematch routine would’ve been all wrong. He’d post up in a front row seat to scribble in his binder and there’d be no fans there to say, “sir, you’re in my spot.”

Out of respect for the Penn State program, I should point out that 7 of those 10 meetings were 5 set matches. Nebraska hasn't been as dominant as it might look at first glance, but they are 6-1 in 5th sets. |
