Not a great night for Vicini I agree. Does she just not have the power to put down kills? Or is she just hitting right at defenders? Idk but the slide and in front of the setter hasn't been working

Nice to have Oglivie back! Definitely made the passing and defense so much better!
And the best thing about this match though is… Baird is finally serving inside the court lol
Kinda worried about Miner’s connection with the middles. If they want to compete with Oregon on sunday, they need to involve Campbell and Vicini more in the offense.
Kipp’s progression over this season has been encouraging. UDub might not like this but I think Kipp is the Pac’s best right side this year. And she has 2 more years!
Safe to say, with Francis living up to her potential and hype and Baird and Kipp around, we might have one of the nation’s best trio of pinhitters.

Out of system needs a lot of work due to her approach. Hopefully she’ll get there so they don’t have to chuck every ball to Kipp. I also think she struggles in ro 1 and doesn’t really look too fluid on the right. In system she can crank it but I’d like to see her vary her shots more

A newbie here. Watching the game last night, and noticed Oregon State players looked very short on TV. Checking their roster, and found out that at several times during the game, the players were:
#48 - 5'11" #10 - 5'9" #15 - 5'7" #7 - 5'5" (Oregon State best player) #9 - 5'5" #12 - 5'6"
Wondering if anyone else noticed this and happened to know if their taller players got injured. I have not watched many games, but I am certain this could be the shortest rotation fielded in D1 this season. It is hard to win games in D1 (let alone Pac-12) with this disadvantage.

Their taller players aren't as good as the short ones.

One of their injured players (Tkachenko) is listed at 6'2". Last season, she was very inconsistent. She could be very good one match and bad the next. But she was a frosh so maybe she would have been more consistent this season. No way to know. The other two who have been out are Aliyah MacDonald (6'0" MB) and Mychael Vernon (5'11" OH). They would both probably be playing if they were available.
