That was awful. The reffing this match was ludicrous. Also, Petersen needs to do better. Much better.

That was awful. The reffing this match was ludicrous. Also, Petersen needs to do better. Much better. She definitely improved as the match went on, but we needed sets 3 and 4 Peterson in the fist two sets. |

I’m still mad that that call wasn’t overturned like there was three fingers that moved when the ball hit it.

I could do with less stress myself) I'm glad they got pushed to 5 and pulled it out in a reverse sweep. This is the type of mentality it takes to win a national championship. Excited to see how the team adjusts for tomorrow. |

Waited until game to come see everyone's reaction.
So Bien? Hunh. The first player since Pressley where I intently note which rotation she was in. That girl was lethal with that front cross. She's gonna be a problem for the next 3 years
Usually Texas can salvage something OOS, hence my one-man joke we are OOS-U. But today, all OOS balls were horribly handled by our hitters.
The frustrating thing were the "simple" serves in the 5th set by Iosia and Petersen that failed. Just get it over the friggin net Sydney!
Block wasn't just non-existent but poorly attempted. The gaps and the players left single with no assists?
Brought in Saige for a few sets and she didn't really contribute. In the case of such bad passing, you needed Jhenna's ability to dart around quickly
But yeah, they're adding to their mental fortitude with games like this. Really, really sucked the first half of the whole game.
And that down judge in the review....I mean you really, really have to be looking for an excuse not to overturn that when even the Kansas commentators point out the finger movements

Great way to fight back, some days you just will not be at your best and you have to find a way to win.
Texas served tougher in the last 3 sets, if they don’t bring the serve they will be in dog fights.
Blocking was off all night, middles were slow to the pins, even with Molly in the front they didn’t get nearly enough block touches
Receiving was decent at times and bad at times.
Setting was not great, some of that was receiving.
Skylar seems to be taking over as the number 1 offensive threat.
Still love Logan’s tenacity even when things aren’t going great, she brings a confidence to the team that they can always turn it around.

Unrelated question - why is it that every other team gets to have partisan commentators and ours always strive so hard to be neutral? Is it because we don't have "fixed" home commentators?
