And what’s the point of replay if you don’t overturn clear touches? Are you waiting to see if a finger is broken to call it a touch?

Unrelated question - why is it that every other team gets to have partisan commentators and ours always strive so hard to be neutral? Is it because we don't have "fixed" home commentators? one of the commentators was a former Kansas player lol

Oh the days of "Nell on Wheels" (Nell Fortner) were heavily weighted towards Texas. And Paul S was buds with her and would add onto the praise.
The worst are the OU commentators. The team could be in a pit and they would say, "Hey, things are looking up against Texas!"

serious test and we fought through it. not pleased with how we played but glad we won TBH you're never pleased unless it's an absolute beat-down, hahahaa. (No shade. I could do with less stress myself) I'm glad they got pushed to 5 and pulled it out in a reverse sweep. This is the type of mentality it takes to win a national championship. Excited to see how the team adjusts for tomorrow. true...it's just frustrating when Texas plays down to and below the level of teams they should beat. But I guess I should also accept that teams aren't going to play their best every single match and it's an unrealistic expectation for me to set.

I’ve noticed this and it’s very odd. Especially for games that go on the espn broadcast. I understand the school radio commentators being biased, but I’d think TV wouldn’t least try to be a little more neutral.

Baylor is pretty bad when watching them, the color commentator last year would not ever shut up about how great Baylor was. Except last year when the guy getting a ball out of the stands decided to moon the entire Fox Sports audience. All of a sudden there was this long pause then you hear ‘… ehhhh ok…just give me a minute. ‘ Classic.

What I found odd was KU behind 14-13 in the 5th set and Bechard unwilling to call his last timeout?
I mean it's 50-50 that timeout would probably have caused Texas a serving error out of the timeout.

-Skylar fields is such a star. It’s incredible to watch her game elevate every match. If Jerritt is comparing her to Destinee Hooker... holy cow. -even when Logan is struggling in one aspect of her game, she finds ways to contribute. Such a leader and class act. -I’m not going to speak much on the setting. We all saw, but it clearly is what it is at this point. -I want our top rated block back -good mental comeback. Bad for my anxiety. -I’m glad we fought back for the Win, but I’d love for us to resemble the #1 team in the country that we are when we come out tomorrow. -Am I only the only one who noticed Sky come off the court during the fifth and spend most of her time waiting to come back hunched over? I think Elliott came to talk to her at one point. She was turned around leaning on the wall at one point as well fatigue? Hopefully she’s not going through something. -I had Kansas ranked early in the season when things were a hot mess around the country. I forgot what game I watched them play, but Bien was a total beast, and they overall have really good pieces. I like their setter. They have potential to be deadly in the next few years, in my opinion.

The Kansas libero is uh. Not great I actually thought she played well the entire match. Had a few miss Q's but who doesn't.! But hey ... I'm her dad. I must have had my daddy googles on!

Today I told her overall she played good.! Dat's all

Bien’s stat line was impressive, especially for a freshman against #1 Texas. 21-6-53 for a .283 hitting %
