Indiana is just not a very good volleyball team. Maryland tipped or rolled them to death in the first two matches. The Hoosier defense was just not quick enough to cover the shots.
Rainelle Jones hands are just a magnet to the ball. In an 8-0 run to start the game she had 4 blocks. Her legs are so long she can get pin to pin with what appears to be little effort. She finished with 12 blocks.
Indiana seemed intimidated by her block and were running shoots to the middle. They tried about seven of them and missed on every one. The only kill was of the paint brush variety.
In the third game Maryland had a rotation where the tallest player was the six foot setter Sydney Dowler. The middle was the 5'9" Hannah Thompson (though she plays taller) and the outside I believe was their 5'9" Paula Neciporuka.
