His daughter is still on the team? Thats a little odd. Well said! The article feels a little like they asked him, "will you coach this season for us and your daughter and then we will try again to find our next coach in the winter?" Which to me is like something at a high school rather than a university. At the same time, cool for him being a Union alum to get to coach his daughter one more time. Hope it works out well for the all the girls on the team. |

Hope it works out well for the all the girls on the team. If I remember correctly, Union was turned down by at least one head coach candidate after being offered the job. It is not a case where they did not do a search and try to fill the position. With the season right around the corner, going interim is not surprising and fairly common. |
