]Due diligence? There are coaches out there getting rehired who have tried dating their players, asked for sexual favors, and/or touched players inappropriately on flights. There are coaches rehired who are "loud" with their assistant coaches (married to other people) while sleeping in hotels next to rooms with players. There are coaches who have purchased alcohol for their under-21 athletes. whomst among us . . .

What do you mean researcher? It’s a hiring process where you have to do due diligence, a simple google search would at the bare minimum make you question that UAPB was a top 100 team With that alone they could’ve asked her straight forward about that and if she insisted that it was true, they could’ve asked her where to find that information to confirm it (dead end)….they’re the hiring side, they’re allowed to ask you for information on your resume that they couldn’t find on their own…..it’s already embarrassing that they hired her but to also have completely false information in the press release is a whole different level of embarrassment Due diligence? There are a lot more athletic administrators out there who don't do due diligence than do, mostly with non BB/football sports. Not to mention, ADs that play the out of sight, out of mind game because it’s easier than creating a winning program with a great culture.

C'mon, how many athletic depts have a researcher on staff that could figure out if something like that is true? I mean, where would you even begin to look for that? /s What do you mean researcher? The /s is typically used as a Sarcasm closure tag. I wasn't sure if I was being too dry so I threw one in to be certain. Of course it's all just a google away, that's what makes cases like these look so dumb, so obvious, so lazy.

Oh my bad, didn’t know that this is what it meant, guess I’ve seen a lot of dead serious crazy takes here that I lost touch with the sarcastic ones lol…my apologies, glad we’re on the same page lol

Anyone heard anything more on the Vandy hiring process? I know they are supposed to start in the fall but my guess is they already have a short list. I am assuming nothing would be announced until close to the end of the season/conference playoff time frame?

I can't imagine they would hire anyone that doesn't currently have a coaching job....I would think December would be the earliest they would announce. just my $.02.

If vandy is going to play in fall of '23, they should have hired someone back in January if not earlier.

I think Vandy is going to do very well. I know several 2025s who are very interested. Love the school and the location.
