I think it’s actually a big highlight that Hawaii wins games with probably the weakest set of 6 servers sans a couple of them on good nights. I think the focus this year is to score on their gameplay vs from the service line, not mad at it, gives the girls more confidence in their gameplay. I remember times where if Nikki and Norene weren’t serving well, everyone felt the game was getting away from us more than it actually was.

Her swing is so elementary. Doesn’t open her shoulders. Hawaii needs a quality hitting coach. This I actually agree with. Another unfortunate loss from Coach Ang staying in Sweden this season. Hopefully she comes back AND we get a really offensive minded Director of Operations, still wish Colton Cowell was working with this team but I’m sure he’s looking at pro ball before touching coaching collegiately. I agree. I think Angelica ran the hitting much more than Robyn which is understandable because Robyn is a setter. I also think Robyn needs to surround herself with professionals on her bench. But I guess you have what you can get. |

I agree with the conversation that Hawaii needs more coaches on their staff to take the stress off the three they have now.

Nice win for the Wahine! If you would have told me that our two outsides hit .111 and .150 I would have said "how much did we lose by"! But the girls were able to find a way! Good job ladies!
