I wanted to ask a general question that I saw during this match. Are head coaches the only ones allowed to speak or dispute with the down referee? I can’t recall seeing John Shondell or Kathy Jewell ever going to the referee to discuss anything. I saw the assistant coach? Or a man that is not Russ Rose speaking to the down referee during the match for Penn State. It was only once. I also wanted to ask if the numbers on the volleyball jerseys are screen printed or are they stitched on like for authentic on field jerseys? Thanks for answering my questions  |

This match only emphasizes the need for volleyball to upgrade their review/challenge cameras. We have the technology, the money is available and touch and line shots are being missed every match-as one was missed in the fourth set in this match and IMO, cost Penn St the match. Nebraska was set to equip the Devaney with better cameras and technology 2 years ago but was shot down by the NCAA/B1G. It makes no sense. . . But not much the NCAA and B1G does with concern to student-athletes makes sense. 🏐
